I've been to Alaska about 10 times in the past few years. Why? I'm a PA-C (Physician Assistant) and I got an opportunity in 2023 to practice rural medicine and never looked back. Something about the people and the state kept drawing me back.

Now I have a permanent position with my organization, so I travel to work multiple times per year. 

But, I also go for fun! My husband and I have visited Anchorage, Girdwood, Seward, Fairbanks, and beyond. There's still so much to explore, but I've learned so much about the state and I want to share it all.

We visited Fairbanks, Alaska and had an absolute blast. People think I'm crazy for visiting in winter, but WOW it is a crazy adventure and it was amazing. I loved it so much.
